Ballet Tech’s 2025 Kids Dance season is coming soon!

In a Kids Dance first, alumnus Edgar Peterson choreographs Lisse, a premiere set on Ballet Tech alumni. We’ll have the return of the adorable 1956, a dance battle to the musical stylings of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. It wouldn’t be Ballet Tech without a bit of classical ballet, so we’ll showcase selections from Paquita, staged by Max Azaro. Brian Reeder premieres a new theatrical dance, Blueloon, which is a reimagining of the classic work The Red Balloon. And, as always, there will be a Kids Dance classic: this time, KYDZNY, the quirky urban folk dance choreographed by Ballet Tech Founder Eliot Feld. With plenty of surprises, there will be something for everyone!

Join us from June 12-15 to see what The New York Times hails as a “winning mix of discipline and courage.” Click here to purchase tickets!

  • Lunar New Year

    Lunar New Year

To celebrate Lunar New Year, alumna Kathy Xia led Traditional Chinese Folk Dance workshops for our 4th and 5th graders. In the 5th grade workshop, pictured here, students learned the Chinese handkerchief dance, often performed during festive occasions and cultural celebrations. It’s important for our students to be exposed to different forms of dance early on as they find their own voices as dancers.
